That's about all I can do right now. To believe that His grace is overpowering in this situation. To know that He is good and that He can redeem even the most messy, emotionally loaded, and difficult of situations.
"I wait quietly before God, for my salvation comes from Him. He ALONE is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken....O my people, trust in Him at ALL times. Pour out your heart to Him, for God is our refuge." -Psalm 62:1,8 emphasis mine
"Give your burdens to the LORD, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall." -Psalm 55:22
"But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, He will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another." -Galatians 5:22-26
"And the church is His [Jesus'] body; it is filled by Christ, who fills everything everywhere with His presence." -Ephesians 1:23
Father, we so desperately need Your grace today and everyday. Your grace alone is sufficient.
"Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time He said, "My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me. Since I know it is all for Christ's good, I am quite content with my weaknesses and with insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamaties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." - 2 Corinthians 12: 8-10
