Today I feel like I have been privy to some of the despair and lost-ness of the world. That sounds super heavy and deep, but in some ways it is. I feel like a witness to the breakdown of the truth both in the world and in some Christian spheres. We all just want truth, but where do we find it? People are strugglin' to decide on truth, and it ain't always pretty. It can be pretty discouraging sometimes, and sometimes I feel a little bit alone in the truth.

This makes me grateful for Christian community, especially the diverse one I am blessed to be a part of.  :)

We are different than the world. Despair is not a mark of God's people, though the world surrounding us is broken in many ways. Let us hope in the LORD, our God, our strength, song, Deliverer.

Will find a Scripture verse later... I feel like it is MUCH needed.
